Business English Realia

(speed-blogging #2, a.k.a short n’ sweet posts)

the lesson was about quality.

Business English kinda quality, y’know.

Upper-intermediate kinda material and all. Adults…

Lotsa  conversation, new words, vocabulary building using a collocations dictionary – the lesson was smooth.

The teacher, yo mismo, browses that ‘quality’ chapter of the teacher’s book, the sister of the coursebook— maybe there’s a good idea in there… who knows?

To motivate students, bring in some slightly unusual and visually stimulating realia, such as a pair of colorful wellington boots, a mini rucksack, a fancy electric toothbrush, etc.

oh boy…
